FAIR TRADE HANDWOVEN COTTON SHIBORI SCARF: INDIGO

These fair trade cotton scarves were handwoven by a fair trade collective on the island of Java in Indonesia. Then they were hand dyed using the ancient Japanese Shibori technique of folding and binding fabrics, dyed with environmentally friendly, non-toxic, fiber reactive dyes for excellent color fastness and durability. These scarves are lightweight and perfect for summer. Because these are made by hand using traditional methods sizes and patterns vary. 

Made by hand in Indonesia. Hand dyed in Philadelphia, PA.

Hand wash and line dry.
